what i found in chapter 6 that was interesting
the topic that was discussed in chapter six was about the research in a speech before presenting it. shows you different ways to do a research on the topic of your choice. what i thought was interesting and very useful was the sources that can be used in the library. i actually never thought to go to the library to do my research, i mean it is common sense to do so but i always use the sources right in front of me, such as the internet or anything that can help around the house. but in reality, the library really is a great place to do research because it provides us with variety of sources we can use in different sections such as the internet, bibliography, books, magazines, etc.

Hi Boed! You are correct, the library is a great place to start. Librarians are wonderful resources to use. What sources, other than internet, are you using for this coming speech? A variety of sources, other than internet, are required. :)
ReplyDeleteGreetings Boed:
ReplyDeleteThat is very interesting, and I agree, I never though about going to the library either to do research. I guess I was kind of single-minded, thinking that I would only use the library for research papers. Once I read over this concept, i actually applied it to my current speech topic, and I went to the library and found more than what i was looking for. The topic I chose was "Social coming out Parties." and the library in Richmond presented me with data dating back to the 1800's from Europe. Did you find anything interesting about your topic at the library?
