Speech Buddy Videos
First off, I didn’t even realize that the video’s we’re taken place at SJSU until the second video. But back to the assignment, what I learned from all three of the videos are techniques of recuperating yourself from the nervousness and visualizing the setting before giving the speech. Techniques that were shown in the video seems like it will relax my body and to keep my mind out of the gutter. In the second video, the guy talks about visualizing the setting before hand so that when you are giving the speech, you feel comfortable giving it because you already got used to the setting. Also, he mentioned that before giving the speech, you should be sure of the introduction as well as the conclusion to increase the confidence. The last video pretty much gave me a sneak peak of what I am going to be doing when we all meet up so it kind of gave me the chills.

I didn't notice in any of them until you mentioned it. I think its important to know the introduction and conlcusion, but I would really like to get the main points memorized.
ReplyDeleteI did not realize that the videos were taken at SJSU either. That’s somewhat cool I guess. I tested out the visualizing technique. I found it helpful knowing what is going to happen beforehand. You should give it a try, it might help you as well. The last video gave me chills too. She is so confident in giving her speech, it’s unbelievable. You can tell that she is confident by her eye contact and hand gestures. She had a great introduction and conclusion. She also had great main points. She spoke so smoothly with no mistakes. I enjoyed watching her video.
