so of course the begginning of the speech must be flawless to get the aduiences attention. according to the book, im right. haha you need to get your adueiences attention which will be the attention grabber. the attention grabber usually is something that stands out, something that the audience is not ready for. for example, your doing a speech oh fraternity. my attention grabber would be, HAZING, what is the first word that comes into your mind? something that will get the audiences attention is an attention getter.
developing your introduction. what you want to say in your introduction is pretty much introduce what your gonna say in your speech. first start off with a breif introduction of what your going to be talking about in your speech, then go into the purpose of this speech. another good thing to add in your speech is a preview of your main points, as written in the book. This will probably be in your introduction as well.
Now, developing your conclusion. Of course you want to review your main points in this too. That is probably the most important part in a conclusion. A review of the main points. To end your speech, it also needs to be flawless, you got to leave your audience with a great ending.
